The short version

1. Who we are and what this covers
13Beacons, LLC is a California limited liability company based in Yucaipa, California. We design and build consumer software.
This policy covers 13Beacons, LLC as a company: our website at 13beacons.com, and any email or other contact you have with us. Each app we publish has its own privacy notice that explains what that app collects. Where an app notice and this policy differ, the app notice controls for that app.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use 13beacons.com, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. It sets cookies and collects your IP address, browser and device details, and approximate location. We do not use advertising pixels or Google Analytics advertising features.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser sends your IP address to Google, under Google's privacy policy.
3. How we use it
- To answer your messages and run our business relationships.
- To keep the website online, secure, and working, and to understand which parts of it people use.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising or build profiles about you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the company, and only for that purpose:

6. Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@13beacons.com. We will verify the request and answer within 45 days.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, you have the rights above and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we use Google Analytics only to measure our own site, not for cross-context behavioral advertising.
UK and EEA residents. We rely on legitimate interest to answer messages and run the site, and on legal obligation for business records. You may also object, restrict processing, and complain to your local supervisory authority. Our processing takes place in the United States.
7. Children
13beacons.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to company email and records is limited to the people who need it, which today is one person. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
9. Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
